About Our Business
Shepple Studios was established as a Professional  Photography business in the
1970's in Kokomo, Indiana.  The primary focus was on high school seniors and
family portraits, with the emphasis on outdoor settings.  As the studio grew,
weddings, sports, church directories and commercial work also became areas of
expertise.  In the late 70's, when consumer video cameras were first introduced,
Shepple Studios was one of the first to expand into videography.

Another area of pioneering was accomplished by Shepple Studios in the world of
computers.  Before personal computers were even available, Shepple's was on
the leading edge with a multi-user, multi-tasking Alpha-Micro system.  Not only was
the equipment revolutionary, but it involved a custom software package specifically
written to schedule and track 19 production checkpoints uniquely applicable to the
photography business.
The computer programming experience gained by incorporating this system into
the Indiana location naturally lead to computerizing and implementing custom
software for other businesses and situations.  In 1981, computer consulting and
the concept of timesharing was introduced to the Arizona market utilizing better
and smaller Allpha-Micro systems and multi-client software.  The photography
application was enhanced and enriched over the next several years.
